Aim of The Directorate of Evening Studies
The Directorate of Evening Studies of the Guru Nanak Dev University is a multi discipline education centre,
which started with the aim of providing quality education to that section of the society who because of various reasons could not
afford to join classes in the morning session. It is a mission to impart education to the marginalised and deprived sections of
the society to empower and enable them to achieve their academic aspirations to enhance their career prospects.
The Candidates who have passed their previous year degree examination from recognized Board/University shall be eligible for admission under this programme as
per rules of Constituent Colleges of the University . The reservation policy as per University rules shall be applicable for admission to the courses under
Directorate of Evening Studies.
